Our Commitment to Content Integrity

ScholarsView aims to provide a platform where professionals, subject-matter experts and knowledgeable creators can share original insights, research, analysis and informed perspectives.

We believe that valuable publishing depends on more than simply producing content. It requires accuracy, meaningful contribution, proper attribution and responsibility towards readers.

Our objective is to encourage creators to produce work that readers can understand, evaluate and engage with confidence.

Originality and Plagiarism

Content submitted to ScholarsView should represent the creator's own original work, ideas, analysis or meaningful contribution.

Creators must not copy another person's writing, research or creative work and present it as their own. Direct quotations, external research and third-party materials should be properly attributed.

Rewriting or paraphrasing someone else's work does not automatically make it original. Creators should contribute meaningful understanding and properly acknowledge the sources they use.

Plagiarism, fabricated authorship, misleading attribution and unauthorised reproduction are not acceptable.

Accuracy and Verification

Creators are responsible for making reasonable efforts to ensure that the information they publish is accurate, relevant and supported by appropriate evidence.

Important factual statements, statistics, quotations, research findings and technical explanations should be checked against reliable sources.

Creators must not invent data, misrepresent research, fabricate references or deliberately present uncertain information as established fact.

Where information is disputed, incomplete or subject to change, appropriate context should be provided.

Sources and Attribution

Creators should use relevant and credible sources when supporting factual claims. Primary sources, official publications, academic research and other reliable references should be preferred where appropriate.

Sources should genuinely support the statements for which they are cited. Quotations and material taken from other authors must be clearly attributed.

Creators should not use fabricated citations, misleading references or sources they have not reasonably verified.

Responsible Use of AI

Artificial intelligence can support research, writing and content development. We encourage responsible use while maintaining human judgment and accountability.

01

Research Assistance

Using AI tools to explore topics, identify research directions, organise information or generate ideas, provided that creators independently verify the information before publishing.

02

Writing and Editing

Using AI for grammar correction, spelling, readability improvements, language refinement and structural suggestions.

03

Summarisation and Organisation

Using AI to organise notes, summarise reference materials or structure an article, provided that original sources are reviewed and represented accurately.

04

Creative Assistance

Using AI to brainstorm headlines, generate outlines or improve the presentation of original ideas.

Practices That Undermine Content Integrity

  • ✕Submitting entirely AI-generated material as original expert work without meaningful human review, understanding and responsibility.
  • ✕Publishing fabricated statistics, research findings, quotations, references or citations.
  • ✕Using AI to create misleading information, impersonate individuals or manufacture evidence.
  • ✕Presenting AI-generated analysis as verified professional research or personal experience when it is not.
  • ✕Reproducing copyrighted or third-party material without appropriate rights or attribution.
  • ✕Misrepresenting a creator's qualifications, expertise or experience.

Routine AI assistance with spelling, grammar, formatting or basic editing generally does not require a separate disclosure.

Creators should disclose substantial AI involvement when it is relevant to understanding the authorship, research process or presentation of an article.

Example Disclosure

"AI tools were used to assist with research organisation and language editing. The author reviewed the final content and is responsible for its accuracy and conclusions."

This is an illustrative example. Creators should describe their actual use of AI accurately.

Human Responsibility and Accountability

The use of technology or external tools does not transfer responsibility for published content away from the creator.

Creators remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, quality, legality and appropriate presentation of every article submitted under their name.

Creators should apply their own knowledge, understanding and critical judgment rather than relying blindly on automated tools.

Copyright, Privacy and Third-Party Rights

Creators must ensure that submitted work respects copyright, intellectual property and other applicable rights.

Third-party content, images, research and other materials must not be reproduced without appropriate permission or another valid legal basis.

Creators should also exercise care when sharing confidential, personal or sensitive information with external tools or services.

Creator Responsibilities

Every creator publishing on ScholarsView is expected to follow these practices.

  • ✓Ensure that submitted work is original and does not improperly reproduce another person's work.
  • ✓Review and verify factual information before submitting an article.
  • ✓Check statistics, quotations and references against reliable sources.
  • ✓Distinguish facts, opinions, analysis and personal experiences.
  • ✓Disclose substantial AI involvement when relevant to understanding the content.
  • ✓Respect copyright, privacy and other applicable rights.
  • ✓Remain accountable for all content published under their name.

Review and Enforcement

ScholarsView may review reported content or investigate potential violations of this policy. Where appropriate, we may request clarification, ask for revisions, remove content or restrict a creator's publishing privileges.

Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of a creator account in accordance with our Terms of Service.

ScholarsView does not claim that every article is automatically screened for plagiarism or AI-generated content.
